Devin was an Associate Engineer on the Starship Thermal Fluids Analysis team, a subset of the Guidance, Navigation, Control and Analysis (GNC and Analysis) team. Devin was responsible for running iterative CFD analysis on a Booster manifold and developing a Python package to compute CdA (discharge coefficient times area), associated parameters, and uncertainty from blowdown test data.

His CFD analysis was used to inform design decisions and modifications for a critical booster fuel manifold. His Python package will be used for future post-test analysis and for checkouts during launch/test operations.

He gained knowledge in Star-CCM+ Computational Fluid Dynamics software, Python package development, 1D compressible flow simulation and analysis, and statistical error analysis.
